Starting Out

IMG_9827.jpg

Our Ultimate Goal

We are still a small homestead starting out. We are learning to create a food forest, not just a vegetable garden. We are learning how to raise generations of poultry, not just have yard pets. We have our land mapped out -- from berry patch to citrus orchard to edible cactus garden to wildlife pond and beyond. We have the ability to start something magnificent in our community and for ourselves and being able to support ourselves while doing it would be the ultimate win.

Join the Action

Are you curious about limiting your food waste? Are you interested in making a positive environmental impact? Do you find yourself throwing away vegetable peels, lettuce trimmings, eggshells, fruit skins, squeezed citrus, or expired produce? If your answer to any of these questions is 'YES' then look no further!!

Here at Haucevedo Hideaway, we schedule pickup for ANY compostable material you or your business are able and willing to collect and set aside. If you or your business create more than 5 gallons of compostable material a day, we will provide you with a compost bin, a weekly or bi-weekly pickup date and location, and website recognition. This is a great way for any wasted food product go back to Mother Nature and help to grow the next generation of food for harvesting!

Contact us with any questions, inquiries, or to schedule your bin drop off day and pick up schedule!
